Afraid I will miss the lunch:-) I have made many friends here on vpFREE, a few of which regularly attend my "Comp hustler's Seminars" at the Outback. I never miss a vpFREE lunch IF I am in town but am rareky in LV mid-month, btw.
I have a message for those many friends, some of which I have never met ftf. My next trip to LV is tentatively scheduled for mid February, per doctor's orders. I have not been there for some time, almost went around 12/18, thank goodness I got lazy and did not.
This afternoon, somewhat coincidentally, I am checking into the hospital for the third Tuesday in the last four. The first two were emergencies, which kept me there for 4 days or so, today it is pre-op for major colon surgery (again) scheduled for tomorrow morning. I have wi-fi there, can access vpFREE, expect me to post my private line ph number at the hospital in a few days when I feel like visiting with foks, either in person, on the phone, or the internet.
My doctor informs me that I should not consider leaving town for any AP play for some six weeks.

The JAN vpFREE lunch is scheduled for Saturday 19 JAN
at the Gold Coast Buffet at 11:30 AM. Meet at the buffet entrance.
This is an informal, non-hosted, Dutch treat lunch, and there's
the possibility that no one will show up. Anyone planning to
attend should post an RSVP on vpFREE for coordination purposes.
Anyone who agrees to host/attend a monthly lunch can select a
different location for that month's lunch, if they notify me before
the first of the month.
In addition, a vpFREE lunch (or dinner) will be scheduled
whenever any member volunteers to be a host and posts the time
and location details on vpFREE. Interested attendees should RSVP
on vpFREE.
Notes: Buffets are usually more expensive and lines are usually
longer on weekends and holidays. Send any pictures to me and I'll
post a link to them.
