Still a little burned out from attending the Gambler's Jamboree
at Windsor Casino over the weekend. Seminars from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
on Saturday and Sunday. Although it was a lot of info for someone
who hasn't done a lot of gambling research to absorb in such a short
time, I was very familiar with most of it. I was more interested in
the personalities of the speakers and how they presented themselves.
They were all very good speakers and were very confident with their
subjects.
Met Jean Scott and Brad again and had to laugh at their frugal
ways in getting to the casino by air with an extra $1200 from the
airline for giving up their seats twice.
Frank Scoblete ran the event with a tight, good-natured fist. I
can still hear him yelling every hour or so 'CLEAR THIS ROOM! NOW!
ASAP!!" I felt like he was directing a stage play and was telling us
where to stand for the next scene.
I took notes each day and will put them together for an article
next month for Midwest Casino Guide.

PS: I lost over a grand playing dollar and two dollar Pick'Em for
the three days I was there. Rats! I hate when that happens.
"Casinos and losing stink after three days."
