Jackpot with Different Players Card

Has anyone had there card associated with another card. My husband and I are both diamond and always received separate offers. We received a letter from Harrahs explaining that our cards are now associated and we will receive better offers and can use each ours points. That did not happen with the offer part as the offers actually decreased. When I called they said it happen when they took over Imperial Palace the computer associated people with the same street address. I told them to unassociate us as we both played to reach the diamond level and each deserve separate offerings not just one offer that is for both. Did this happen to anyone else?

This has not happened to EH and I, though neither of us is Diamond
with HET.

I do wonder though, what would happen if you both decided to play at
Harrahs/St Louis. MO casino law evidently requires each player to have
his/her own card and card number in order to enter a MO casino.

I have found, that as a general rule, whenever a casino does this kind
of "favor" for a player, that it is usually to the player's detriment.

I sure hope this doesn't happen to Shirley and me. We have 14 Stars
between us at Harrah's. We are both on the "A list" offer-wise at
several casinos and having our accounts combined would be a big "pay
cut."

I was already a $5 player when Shirley and I married 10+ years ago. She
kept her former name to reduce the probability that our accounts will be
merged. For properties that where we have heard this combination
sometimes happens (including Harrah's), we use different mailing
addresses. We don't keep the fact that we're married hidden from hosts
and other Harrah's employees, but we're trying to guard against a
"well-intentioned computer program" combining our accounts.
