Jackpot with Different Players Card

I interpreted this ("they all belonged to him") to mean they were not other

you ask me! They not only are stealing from the casino, but they also cause
promos to be cut short, free play to be reduced, good machines to be
monopolized, etc., because they insist on extracting more than their fair share. I

play so much and get so much FP the next day. There are quite a few people
who do this!!!

Just curious what you all think...what's the best player's club in Las Vegas
for earning fine dining comps? And, given your preference, how much coin-in
would it take to earn enough points for a $200 dining comp (i.e., nice
dinner for two)?

I agree with you. It is one thing for someone in your party (spouse, roomate, boyfriend, grilfriend, significant other) and you to play on the same card as many casinos give you a choice on signing up if you have 2 or more living at the same address. It is another to falsify info and get multiple cards, and all this for $5??? a month or whatever. Can't these people get a real job, though personally, I would not want to hire someone who commites fraud.

Does anyone have any tips on these two? I haven't been there in a couple of
years. I know what to expect, but if anyone has discovered anything recently
that they'd like to share, please let me know. Thanks

how much coin-in

would it take to earn enough points for a $200 dining comp (i.e., nice
dinner for two)?

This is not an easy question to answer. If you are staying at the
casino (whether on an offer or not) most places will require a certain
amount of play to "cover" the room before they will even look at
picking up any food charges. And of course the precise information as
to exactly how much play is required is often guarded as tightly as the
jackpots on the casino's worst slots.

However, I do have one example to share. I dropped in to the Palazzo
and played $17,000 through a $1 9/6 J/B triple play machine in a few
hours. Broke even. Cashed in all of my earned free play and some
bonus free play for being a new member. Went to the host booth and
asked for a food comp. One of the hosts gave me a $75 food comp that
was good for 24 hours.

Let's see.... at HET that would be 1700 base pts.=$17/comp

You are confusing earned comps with discretionary comps. They are not
the same.

$17000 VP coin-in at Palazzo for standard level players equals about
5700 points. For 5000 points you can exchange for a $20 gift card
which can be used to pay for restaurant meals. So, $20 vs. $17 is a
more fair comparison.

Yes, hosts can offer you a different amount. Your $75 is slightly
below what the database indicates can be offered. You could have
pushed for up to $125.

Most people will tell you that at Harrahs discretionary comps are not
available. All I can tell you is that I have not paid for a single
meal at Harrahs Las Vegas in 2008 and I have not had any Total
Rewards deducted from my account. The casino has picked up the
charges. So, next time when they tell you that you have to use your
reward credits, do as I do and insist firmly that they do not.

Interesting..Do you specifically mean the Harrahs hotel or are you
talking about all HET/Vegas properties ? Also, can you give a
general scenario about how you do this ? Do you charge against room
and then see a host/Talk to a host for a discretionary? etc. Also
what is your play level at Harrahs ?

  Thanks,

So, I wanted to see how this worked. When I was in Reno, I asked host for a comped buffet for me and hubby. She checked my card and said I had to use my card points up first and then start charging to room. Nope, I went to Eldorado. I got a gold card and comped buffets. Did the rest of my gambling there after winning two jackpots at Harrah's. If they don't want to help me, I won't help them either. I love the Eldorado and Silver Legacy which are both privately owned by the same family. Guess who gets my money next trip??
