Jackpot with Different Players Card

If you mean your acquaintance has cards that all belong to him, with 15 or
more different account numbers, then he is stealing from the casino as much as
the guy who picks up other people's abandoned cards. It is against the rules
for one person to have more than one account in the same casino. The only
difference is that your acquaintance is not causing harm to other players. But
he is still defrauding the casino.

How does one get several different accounts in the same place? I've heard a
few people say they also have several cards in the same casino. Do they use
several fake IDs? Being a guy who plays by the rules, I have no idea how this
is done.

What makes you think this is a thief? An acquaintance of mine (really a
friend of a friend) was quite proud of having between 15 and 20 different
cards at the Palms so that he could collect the $5 free play. They all
belonged to him, he hadn't been picking up random abandoned slot cards!
Fraud was the word that came to my mind, and I'm glad that I'm not the only
one who thinks this way. And this isn't the only casino where he does
this. Everybody's got an angle on this game.........

Another really good reason to not leave your card in the machine when you
leave, or even when you take a restroom break! It should be okay if you
have a
slot floorperson watch your machine, as they should not allow someone to
grab
your card.

Not only is this thief taking advantage of your having forgotten your
card,
but in downloading the free play he is also adding on a zero play day for
you!

I admire his cleverness, but think some time in prison would be well
deserved.

Recently, the Palms ran a drawing promotion where if you swiped to enter
before 6:50 pm, $5 in free play was loaded on the card after the drawing.

As I was sitting at a machine, I saw someone sit next to me with a thick
stack of cards - and he was putting in each card, downloading the free
play,
playing it off and cashing out. He must have done this, seriously, 15 to
20
times in a row. And not the least bit discretely at all.

I was absolutely stunned at the guy's audacity.

This is usually someone who has a lot of friends, relatives, homeless people, etc. that he has organized to get cards in the first place and then give them to him. He swipes all the cards sometime during the day and then collects the $5 on each. There are lots of promos where you can make money by using other people's cards. Like the one Stations had, for example - play so much and get so much FP the next day. There are quite a few people who do this!!!

Here is what is going to eventually happen if these "thieves" don't stop their actions. The casinos will be forced to record the ID # presented next to the name and perhaps have a list of ID's presented, i.e, passports, CA, NV licences, CA, NV state ID's, military ID's to see if the same iID was used for more than one card, GREATLY SLOWING up the line. The other idea is that the casino might set tiers on play for the cash so that more play on what card has similar value to multiple cards. The idea is that the same rewards for the same total play.

This may be the reason why these easy promos are getting rare as id there is significant fraud the purpose of the promo to the casino is defeated.

Just one more point -- they couldn't be cards found around the casino because he wouldn't have known the pin numbers.
