I hve been at JA Nuggett almost every weekend
lately.... the $1 Deuce Deluxe machines are reduced to
2, as the old machines are used for parts to keep the
remaining going. These Sigma machines, as well as the
3 DDJ $1 machines next to them are going away by
June... they are the victim of the currency changes.
A talk with the slot mechs and the slot manager,
revealed that the Sigma machines do not have parts
available, and were not made with enough memory for
updating to the new currency. It seems that the
latest upgrade to the newest $20 bill maxed out the
memory. New 10s and 5s are coming, which will make
the machines obsolete.
Also, they are coin fed machines.... slowing the play,
and needing manhours of labor to handle the coins.
There are 4 10/7 DB MG MD machines added near the
Horseshoe bar, but the game is only available 5-25
cents. The slot manager told me that there was no
way he would let it be played at the dollar level or
above.
Also, there is 1 NSUD MD MG machine, 99.73%,
(200/25/16/10/4/4/3/2/1), an upright GAME KING very
near the round change booth and Megabucks Progressive
across from Johns club.... 5 coin max, $1 max for
NSUD
This same game is at Cache Creek in Calif at $5...
high roller area
JA Nugget still has a Joker Poker 4700 RF
(4700/1000/500/250/85/35/25/15/10/5/5) 98.44% on an
upright MG near the east tower elevators. I think it
is a 25 cent machine, 10 coin max.
