J A Nugget weekly video poker tourneys - Questions

I just noticed on the J A Nugget's website that they have a weekly vp
tournament every Sunday. I assume every entrant gets just one
15-minute entry, in just one of the six "on-the-hour" time slots.

So, can anyone help me size it up?: Thanks:

1) what's the game? DDB?
2) any idea on the average number of entrants?
3) does it take a RF to get in the top 5 spots?
i.e. is this a tourney where you hold only RF cards
   from all dealt hands?

I'll be there in mid-January....and I've never entered a vp tourney in
about 5 years playin VP....

Here's the info cut&paste from the site:

The game is DDB... it is played on old bally gamemaker machines,
touchscreens..... the game is 20 minutes, or 6000 credits used. The
machines are set for 20 coin bets, so you need to play 300 hands in 20
minutes, or 900 hands per hour speed.

The tourney is so popular, that they run the game continuously from
2pm. The second round starts as soon as the first round ends at 2:20
or so.

You must be at the awards at 8PM to collect your winnings. Usual
scores for the money are above 9000 points, with the occasional royal
(16,000 points) for the first and/or second place winners.
