It's Raining Royals!

I normally don't like to brag about big wins, but this particular
session was so unusual I thought you all might get a kick out of it.

I was playing a 10 line, quarter Super Times Pay Jacks or Better game
(I won't say where - please don't ask), and Royals just kept falling
out of the machine. I have NEVER had a session like this one
before. Twice the machine dealt me four to the Royal, and I
completed one both times. (Chances are approx. 80% of NOT hitting a
Royal starting with 4 to a Royal on a ten play.) Twice more during
the session I hit a Royal starting with three to a Royal. To top
everything off, I hit yet another Royal starting with three cards
with the 5X multiplier turned on! I just about fell out of the chair
when I saw the 20,000 coin Royal pop up on the screen. Total was 5
Royals worth $9000. I played for perhaps 8 hours that day. At maybe
400 hands per hour, that would be about 32,000 final hands - or not
quite one Royal cycle. It was as though all the Royals I had been
short of during the year all decided to show up at once.

I finished the day up about $7500 (which also demonstrates just how
bad Super Times Pay can be if you DON'T hit one or two big hands - it
would have been a $1500 loss without any of the Royals).

I've fantasized about having sessions like yours. Congrats!

Sometimes you're the bug, and sometimes you're the windshield.

The windshield is the clear favorite.

Hi,

     Nice Going!!!!!!

     I have a question regarding bankrolls. I play 5-Play 9/6 JOB
quarter machines. From my limited experience, I have found that if I
have a $1500 bankroll, I can play about 40,000 hands without hitting a
Royal and I haven't exhausted my bankroll. Is there any "Rule of
Thumb" on how big a bankroll you need for single line/3/5/10-Play 9/6
JOB?? Would you need a different bankroll for playing 10/7 DB??

Thanx, Mike
