It happened again, card unholds itself

Has this ever happened to you? You hold a hand say a pair of aces. You see the hold hold above the aces and when you hit deal/draw the machine resets itself to as if you were never there. The hand is gone and the splash screen is showing as it you just walked up to the machine. Sure your credits are still there but you cannot find a trace of the last hand you were playing. I call it the "Casino Twilight Zone Syndrome". No Its not due to speed I am about a hand every 3-5 seconds player.

Subject: [vpFREE] It happened again, card unholds itself

Playing NSUD tody and was dealt a pat straight with a deuce.

The cards were, 3x, 4x 2x, 5x 6h. I held all five, double checked that they all showed held and pushed the deal button. That is my best recollection. Immediately the 6h disappears and in its place pops a Kh in the final hand.

I had them recall the memory of the dealt cards and sure enough the 6h shows as being dealt, but not as being held. I am sure I held it, as on any pat hand, I always look at it twice and then push deal.

Needless to say, I had no proof of holding the card. I did not even request to be made whole, as all I was interested in was what the memory showed.

I guess if it ever happens on a really big hand, I am just out of luck.

Not showing it as held is kind of contrary to what others have reported when something similar happened to them, so who know what, or how.

Any comments are welcome, but I am sure I held the card and that it showed held. Can I prove it, like I said above no.

The only reason I had it checked was to see what it showed , as I was not upset about losing 10 credits.

This happens when you think you are in the middle of a hand but actually the
game is over. When the game is over, one of the hold buttons returns you to
the main menu. You pressed it thinking you were holding an ace, but actually
it booted you back to the menu screen.

Yes, this has happened to me at various different casino's. Pow, it just reverts back to the startup screen. I am sure I am on the draw at the time and not at the end of the game. I don't know what I'd do if I ever had a royal or something and just wanted to hold them all and lost it.

This usually happens to me after I've had a couple of drinks while?playing VP at a casino bar.? It is an unwelcome surprise each time, but it?takes?me out of the "trance" that is so easy to fall into while playing.
