Isle of Capri Comps?

I play 70% of the time at Harrahs, and have a couple questions about
Isle of Capri.
First off, can anyone verify how many dollars you need to play to
earn one point there? The last time I was there I got one for about
every $23, but the time before, unless I was way off my count, I got
a point for every $35. This was on the exact same type of machine.
Second, what's the deal with comps there? For the first time I
redeemed my cashback ($100), but all that was available for a comp
was a breakfast buffet. How can this be? I understand I have
10,000+ Isle Miles, but still! I asked someone at the slot booth.
She told me points and rewards do not expire, but I have a feeling
they must and only recent play was showing for my comps. If they do
expire, can you tell me when they do?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

This is one reason I no longer play that much at the Isle. Everything about their slot club is a mystery. I think I calculated their cashback at .26% once a long time ago. Points do not expire, but comps absolutely DO expire. If you find out you've earned a meal at the Isle, plan on taking it within a week or two or losing it.

This is why we rarely ever set foot in Capri even though they send us cash coupons (but small ones). I have tried on previous occasions to figure out their points/cash back and it is almost impossible.

Speaking of Harrah's we got our cash back 'checks' today with a letter that stated Harrah's will give same-day cashback starting in November. No more Harrah's "welfare checks", just go get it when you want it.
