Does anyone know if there is anything playable in Switzerland? I'll
be out there for a while, and would like to play if possible. I can
probably catch a train most anywhere, but would prefer close to Zurich.

Well, you can check out...

Good luck! Rule of thumb seems to be that everything in Europe "sucks" when it comes to
gambling, especially for video poker.

Pretty brutal there, as is Austria. A decent play in Spain, break even
stuff in Monaco and France. I hear there may be something at Baden
Baden in Germany but I'll believe it when I see it. They're not big on
comping stuff either, and the only place I know of which offers
cashback is Casino de Barcelona, which offers .25 to go with their
94-95% VP (great city and nightlife, though).

Dude, you take my handle too literally..LOL...
Regarding Markus' post re CH and Baden Baden, I thought there might
have been something when driving through Lugano towards Milan (Markus,
these are joker games, right?) on an Aristocrat machine, but forgot to
sim it. I wasn't coming back anyway. This was in 1999, though.
I heard about Baden Baden much more recently, last fall.
Never been to BE, no desire to go.
I heard that there's nothing to play there but "cheesy" games."

Hey, I just copied and pasted it from a joke site. I plead innocent
based on their ignorance.

How do I love Swiss?
Let me count the ways......
a nice-sized block has many holes
and when I stash stuff there it stays.
How do I love Cheddar?

wins the highest of ratty praise.
