I think the answer is, it depends.
In November, I gave significant play to a decent non-strip Las Vegas
hotel casino that had a few 100%+ paytable machines. A message on
these machines indicated no comps or cash-back.
I put my Players Card in anyway. Assuming at least they might note
my hours of play, my cash in, and perhaps also my results.
Although I played on these 100% machines with extremely proficient
play, I ended up losing there. About two months later I got a mailer
with steeply discounted offers to stay there (with some nights free)
along with some Free Slot Play coupons and Free Food vouchers good
for the first part of 2007.

Folks? Do you notice how, _straub@shore.net_ (mailto:str…@…net) , aka
"ST" obfuscates where and when this play occurred? This is so typical of a
greedy selfish advantage player. This just makes me sick. I happen to know the
exact details. It was not a "non-strip" hotel like ST says. It was the MGM.
And, it was not November, it was in April of 2006. The machines? A bank of six
upright dollar triple play FPDW, inside the Lion Habitat. There was no
message on the machines saying "no comps or cash-back" The sign was actually
outside on the window saying "DOUBLE POINTS INSIDE." ST says he ended up losing.
Well, yes, he lost his left arm and right leg to the lions… an arm and a
leg. The reason ST losing his limbs didn't make the TV news was on that April
night the MGM gardener was attacked by the roving gang and that incident was
more newsworthy. And something else. Bob and Shirley Dancer were at the same
bank of machines that evening. Anybody notice Bob and Shirley being impaired
when square dancing lately? No! because they have all their limbs. They are
certified animal trainers. The Dancers have a… leg up on us all.
