Is the vp section of bj21's green page still a worthwhile website?

I haven't been able to access bj21 from my computer at work the last
couple years and wonder if it's still a good site.

I have read some negative comments about bj21 recently and wonder if
the site has slipped in quality or if those comments are coming from
people that dislike Stanford Wong - I 'm not sure why but there seems
to be a group out there that doesn't like him. I always liked green
page and the advice it had.

I can't access vphomepage anymore either - does it have anything beyond
what is on this site?

Thanks for any info

The problem most BJ professionals have with Stanford is that his
material, while intended for the aspiring blackjack student, really
has worked better to educate those aspiring casino executive to
properly protect their games. With those are the very top, Stanford's
material might even have helped, in a backwards sort of way. Green
Chip, which was originally marketed as casino suit free, turned out to
be heavily infiltrated with pit personnel from Mirage Resorts, Park
place, etc. There was also some infiltration on Black Chip as well. I
log on to the site maybe once a year, but the damage was long ago
done. Stanford has done much more for casinos to save money than for
players to make it, yet he still has a loyal following.

Let me assure you, that as a gaming writer, Stanford is an A talent.
As a player, maybe C; he just has zero street smarts.

At the end of the day, people know what they know and proceed
accordingly. Let me assure you that what Stanford writes is an
excellent starting point, but it's exactly just that-a starting point.

The VP section is probably one of the least used pages. I still find a
lot of good info thourght the rest of GC though.

The Video Poker page on bj21 is primarily for blackjack players who
want to dabble in Video Poker. I doubt if that page even gets 1% of
the traffic that vpFREE gets.

Interesting that you can't access bj21 from work. I went through a
period several years ago where I couldn't get to bj21 from work
either. I would get a goofy error message in the browser such
as "address name too lengthy". That lasted maybe a year or so. Then
the IT department upgraded our network to a new version of Windows,
and suddenly I could get to bj21 again. More recently my company has
installed a very aggressive internet filter that appartenly blocks
almost any site that has anything to do with gambling. This even
includes relatively benign sites such as some casino hotel home
pages. Strangely enough, I can still get through to bj21.
