I have played 10-play jacks on a PlayTech casino. The game is
basically 10x.25 7/5 JOB with a progressive bonus for a royal on the
1st line. The progressive starts at 4000 coins ($1,000) and can go to
$30,000+. The history of payoffs is shown on Slotcharts
http://www.slotcharts.com/slotinfo.php?id=481
The game becomes positive at about the $20,000 progressive level and
play slows presumably from heavy play on this multi-casino game. With
a bet at $12.50 per hand (full coins) and even assuming a meter of
1.0% and a royal cycle at 40,000 hands (assuming most play basic JOB
strategy and the few real players sitting out till positive and then
playing adjusted strategy) it would take one royal cycle to move the
meter $5,000. Based on the charts of hits it seems multi cycle
jackpots may be happening more frequently than expected. Is the meter
higher than 1% and how do you tell? [From watching the jackpot during
the early stage it does not seem to increase in increments as large as
12.5c.] Are a large # of players not playing full coin, or is there
something else I am missing? Thanks for your imput.
