We are heading for northern Iowa for a couple weeks and will be near
two casinos but know nothing about them. Anyone familiar with these
places and more importantly, what's the VP like?

On my one visit to Diamond Jo everything I saw was under 98%.

Thanks for the feedback. We will check out Wild Rose and see if there
is anything good. We have stopped at Prairie Meadows several time so
know about it but they will be out of our range for this trip.

I stopped at Wild Rose last October. There was nothing remotely decent
at that time. I checked out the players club and they offered no
cashback either. It is part of the list of casinos with nothing
worthwhile (98.8%+) that I sent to vpFae last fall - I had suggested
adding them to the Midwest index and listing them as "Nothing Good"
without bothering to make pages for them. That list also included the
following: Argosy Sioux City, Winnavegas, Diamond Jo Northwood,
Terribles Lakeside, and Riverside. If you stop at any of them and find
that things have changed, please let me know as I can start monitoring
them for the group.
The new Isle in Waterloo (somewhat northern Iowa) is very short pay up
to $1 which has 9/5 JOB, and the $5 machines have 9/6 JOB, 9/7 DB, and
Ill. 2's. Cashback is 0.25%. They have a lot of the new Bally
machines which look very sharp with the huge screens, but they
unfortunately have no good games.
