Invitation To Join New Group Dedicated To Tracking Casino Comps

You are invited to join the new yahoo group casino_comps. The
following is excerpted from the welcome page of the new site.

The goal of this forum is to track the level of comps provided by
individual casinos based on a given level of play.

Comps earned by all games (table games, slots, video poker, poker
room) should be included, however special emphasis will be placed on
video poker, since many casinos allow for returns of over 100% when
play results are combined with comps.

The group covers casinos nationwide.

Questions can be sent to thymos_one@yahoo.com

My second trip to Reno is upcoming. During my first trip I made my way out
to Tahoe so I had a rental car, but this trip I'm wondering if I can get
away without one. I'll probably be staying at the Peppermill and I'm
wondering if there is a convenient and cheap way to get downtown sans auto.
Any suggestions?

Reno bus system (CItifare)works well. It's clean, friendly, and
punctual. Pep is on Rt. 1,which runs every 10 minutes up unitl about
7pm then less frequently until 1 per hour in the wee hours. Fare is
$1.65. If you are returning within 2 hours, ask for a transfer, which
is free. The bus shelter is across the street, directly across from
the giant Pep. sign. For more info, check

http://www.rtcwashoe.com/transportation/citifare/

BTW, since those locals avoid downtown like the plague, I guess they
don't know about the good plays there.

I agree with what catcat said about Citifare, the Reno bus
system. It IS very reliable. I use it every time I go to Reno,
whether I'm wanting to go to either Peppermill/Atlantis from
downtown or to the Nugget in Sparks.
