Inventory

Good morning!

I am still seeing this on the LV Index and Sumary page for CP

50c/$1/$2/$5 BP
50c/$1/$2/$5 9/7 DB

Have things not caught up yet, as to the devastation that has occurred in HET properties in
LV (and elsewhere?), or has the demise of these pay tables not been confrimed?

.....bl

The demise of these machines may have been overstated. 1st hand
reports received in the past 3 days indicate that $1/$2/$5 JOB and
BP machines are still in existence. 9/7 DB was not mentioned either
way. These were "passing through" observations spotting 8-15
machines.

It will take a first hand thorough walk through to re-establish the
CP inventory.

You know, it was HET's obvious intent to eliminate anything resembling
FP machines. Why would you even consider bringing it up here in a
public forum?

John Kelly gave very good advice last week on this topic: if you find
something there, keep it to yourself. Harrah's is so metrically
oriented I swear Gary Loveman comes from Borg. They trust their
research, right or wrong, so you're going to be living with this for a
while.

Here's my friendly piece of advice: Taking the HET LV TR program into
account, 9-6 Jacks with 1.5% theo is a loser for most players, and
marginal for the bigger fish. That being said, it's very slightly
better than, say, 8-5 Bonus with 4% theo.

"It's not just in Las Vegas. On my most recent trip to Kansas city,
8/5 JOB was the best pay table at Harrah's and Ameristar, and 7/5 the
best at Argosy."

You may not have found anything better but better VP does exist in all
three casinos. Since I am monitor for these three in KC I check them
on a regular basis (although I haven't been to Argosy for a few
weeks). The VPFree database was just updated for Harrah's and
Ameristar to reflect the present situation and it is accurate as of a
few days ago. Both casinos have several Pick'Em in full pay machines.
Harrah's also have 9/6 JOB in 25c all the way to $5 progressive (yes
even the progressive $5 machines are 9/6).

And speaking of progressive, they have some short pay $1 Pick'Em
progressives that had over $50,000 on the clock last week.

During our last visit to Argosy, we played some 3-play $1 machines
that had 9/6 JOB and 8/5 Bonus. There are two of them and can be
found in the High Limit area.

Suggest you check the VPFree database before making another trip so
you can see the latest inventory and where they are located. Then you
will not have to stumble around looking for good machines and end up
playing the short pays.

Thanks, Rick.

That is encouraging!

And, a "tip o' the hat" to you for the work you do as a monitor. It is appreciated.
