Got here at 8pm....checked in Fitz, ate at Molly's here.
Headed out to play 10/7 Double Bonus at JA Nugget. Got there around
9:30 . Played $100 through a 25c 10/7 DB...started off by mis-holding
5's/7's (Held 755) and caught 55 on the draw for 55557, to start out
to $150...played through that $50 on that machine, then switched
machines. Pretty much straight lost $50 on another 10/7 DB...switched
back machines to lose the remaining $50...this time I said, well,
whatever, Put another $20 into the machine...got a few FullHouses and
flush's...then was faced with a desicison...AQ10JhAd...keep the solid
paying aces or try for the royal...commented to my granma sitting next
to me, how this is the hand we were talking about earlier...what to
do...well...I did the book move...AQ10Jh...to draw the Kh for the 10-A
of hearts...first REAL paying royal..$1000. Woohoo! Only took $120 to
do it!
Same time, I had given my mom $100 and my granma the other $60 that we
had staked...played some PaiGow and craps and eventually lost
that...Now I'm back at Fitz in my room with my 10 benji's (as Mark
says) Currently $700 up and still two more days to go...hopefully I
can snag the AAAA2 (just want to see it)

Interim Trip Report
Started out this morning by having breakfast at Silver Club and
playing a little on the same machine I hit my Royal on last night at
JA Nugget..Put $20 in, and got it up to $100 after hitting 5555Q, then
QQQQ5 (Ironic huh?) Played that down to $80, and cashed out (My mom
and granma had lost their 20's in that amount of time)
So we rolled out of there and headed down to Carson City...
Started off playing at Carson Nugget...played a little BJ and craps
and did so-so...wasn't up or down...Dropped a $5 bill into a 10/7 DB
nickles and came up AA569, drew to AAAAQ, 800 nickles, w00t w00t! Not
too bad, $45 cashout!
So, we headed from there over to Gold Dust west with the $40
winnings...we had $10 each free slot play, which of course I played on
a 25c 9/7 DoubleBonus...didn't do too bad...played and played for a
while, nothing really notable...was getting a little annoyed at all
the dealt 3oak's without grabbing the forth...even mentioned to my mom
that "I guess I just won't get crap unless I get it DEALT to
me!"...well..low and behold, I hit the DEAL button..BAM, Royal Flush
clubs...never had a DEALT Royal (hell, only had two others in my
life!) but it's weird because it instant holds all cards and begins
paying. So, that's two $1000 Royal's in two days...both of which were
off of a $20 bill I put in the machine.
After that, went and had dinner at Casino Fandango (comped) and played
some unnotable VP...then on the way back to Reno..got pulled
over...LOL, there's a section in Carson that it goes from
45mph->35mph->25mph all within like a BLOCK...asked me how fast I was
going, "40?" "43!...but I'm going to write you up for 30 in a 25."
WTF?! FIVE MILES OVER! Funny enough...the officer's name was "Moron" I
KID YOU NOT!
So I guess my luck is officially over with that $87 ticket...

I laugh at myself every time someone talks about a dealt royal. I was
a real newbie playing.I was at those 25 cent FP DW at SL. I pushed the
