Interesting Atlantis phone call

We had been receiving mail offers for rooms and free play.

A couple of weeks ago we recieved a letter from Atlantis congratulating us on moving up to the Platinum level based on our play in March. It included some credit to use at the spa or any restaurant.

We are going to Reno in May, but had not received a room and free play offer from Atlantis for May. I called, assuming I had misplaced the offer.

We were told that we had received a couple of good tournament entries, some birthday bonus points and that our June offer would be just like what we had been receiving. I reaffirmed we were not going to be there in June, but rather in May and mid-week at that. The polite woman said she could probably get us a room using our comp points, which I declined.

Business must be good if they can't comp us a mid-week room.

Business IS good at Atlantis and Peppermill...every time I'm there, it's packed.
I recently went from the base card, to "Preferred" and my offers didn't change AT ALL.
Same for GSR, I recently made "Green" card there, and was told that it doesn't matter your card level, it matters your play, and since I didn't play AS big recently (only been playing an hour a day there, because they're ALWAYS booked), my host told me my offers were going to dramatically drop.
