I had several direct replies to my post about Inn of the Mountain
Gods in Ruidoso, NM. One question that was asked was about the
quality of the rooms. Always trying to accomodate the need for
information for my fellow VPers, I made another trip to the Casino
today - for investigative purposes only, of course!
The rooms are excellent. Probably a little smaller than rooms in
most of LV, but the size is made up by the furniture and
decorations. Most of the rooms face the lake, and have a private
balcony. The decoration is more southwest and native American -
like, duh! - it is an Indian Casino! But the quality is very high.
I also did some "investigative research" in the casino with the
Pick 'Em Poker - my game. My conclusion? When you play five to six
hours and have only ONE QUAD, it is pretty hard to come out ahead!
More research needs to be done!!
