It is all three. Now before we get all excited at the generosity of
the new system, keep in mind this is slots. I checked the information
on Saddle West in Pahrump, as the new owners already own this one.
The latest report is that it is $2.00/point on VP. I think we have to
assume that will be the case at the CB and EW. If that is true, then
we are looking at .25% on cash back/free play. The comps will be .35%.
The next question is what will happen to any cash back and comps
earned before the new ownership. Now I pretty much cleared out my
accounts, so it is not a factor for me. It is possible that could
have been a mistake. I checked the One Club website, and my points
left are still there. It looks like those can still be used at two
places- Circus Circus in Reno and Las Vegas. You can check your
balance with this link: http://www.myoneclub.com
It is possible and maybe likely (?) that the new owners will maintain
points earned under the old owners. This is not uncommon, as they
like to maintain "good will" with all previous and good customers. If
they do this, this is an opportunity to double dip on cash back and
comps. Time will tell. I had this happen to me when the LV Hilton
and Caesars Lake Tahoe were sold. I just found out a few months ago
that I still had over $90 in comps at MontBleu Lake Tahoe from the
previous owners- nice.
