Anybody have info on the casinos in wendover? I'm headed to Salt
lake city next month and would like to know if the VP and gambling in
general is worth a visit...

Info on wendover casinos
VP in Wendover has never been very good. They have some good
blackjack games (single deck) and some live poker. If you are
interested in either of these, email me directly for additional info.

The Peppermill and Rainbow had some quarter 9/6 progressives at some
of the bars with meters on both the royal and straight flush; if
you're fortunate they may be above breakeven. Overall, the inventory
sucks. Nothing in dollars.
IMHO. The blackjack conditions in Wendover are, bar none, the best in the country. All single deck, dealer hits soft 17, double on anything.

It is a VP wasteland, but you might find a good poker
game on the weekend. I think one of the casions had a pretty
juicy looking 15-30 holdem game. This info is as of Feb, 2002, YMMV
