Any thoughts on background and accuracy?

I have not read Arnold Snyder's Internet casino book yet, but Snyder
has always been exceptionally accurate and trustworthy in everything
else I've read of his.
He himself made several significant contributions to beating
blackjack. His monthly magazine "Blackjack Forum" was for years the
best thing serious blackjack players could look forward to. He has
gone overboard NOT to exaggerate profit potential from gambling
opportunities. But he is very good at estimating how much games are
worth and how to best approach them. And he has an excellent sense
of humor, to boot.
He has enough experience and skills to write a good book on Internet
casinos, and I would be surprised if this book is not excellent.
His website is www.blackjackforumonline.com

In the interest of disclosure--Arnold Snyder published 3-4 articles
of mine in Blackjack Forum. (Including the video poker RoR article
that is a link from vpFREE) I've never met Arnold, but I've
exchanged many emails with him and had a couple of telephone
conversations with him several years ago.)

When I wrote the above, I was under the impression that Snyder had a
new book on Internet casinos that had either just come out or was
about to come out. I don't see any mention of that on his website
or on shoplva.com. Maybe I was thinking of Snyder's new "Big Book
of Blackjack".
I have read the 2000 book by Bill Haywood "Beat WebCasinos.com",
that was originally published by Snyder. That is a very good book,
but it may be somewhat dated at this point.
If you are referring to the material on Snyder's website, I would
trust it.

Arnold DOES have out a new book on playing internet casinos, about a month old, through
his current publisher Cardoza Publishing. It's called "How to Beat Internet Casinos and
Poker Rooms" and resells for $14.95. Buy it through Amazon for about $10, or buy one of
the 40+ used copies listed on Amazon for about $9.
I have not yet read it, but Arnold writes well and is a very smart guy, so I'd be surprised to
learn that there were any problems with it. "BeatWebCasinos.Com," published by RGE
when Arnold still owned the company, is a bit dated since it was written in 2000, but the
basic tenets are great, it still sells very well, and it's on sale through RGE for about $5 (full
disclosure: I am a co-owner of RGE).
