And the Indian casinos near me find its cheaper to take the fines from the state than to have their machines set at the appropriate and agreed to minimum payback percentage which here is a dismal 85%. They have done this several times that they took a fine and thought nothing off it than having their slots pay right. and I am sure their VP is just as bad. I have also talked to slots techs that work in them and have quit cause they wanted chips installed that had as low as 30% payback rates YIKES!!!! Run don't walk from these places.

In simplified terms, the Indian Gaming Control Act allows tribes to conduct
games that are permitted already within a given state. In order to branch
out to include other games, elections are held in most states. It's the
individual state's responsibility to enforce agreements with tribes, and
states do have the right to send authorities onto a reservation if
illegalities are suspected. But usually the order has to come directly from
a high authority, like the attorney general of a state.
