Index + Summary DataBase Pages

Thank you for the link. What is with the "UPDATING HAS BEEN
DISCONTINUED" message?

See vpFREE Message # 60807 (appended below).

I hope that we'll get volunteers to maintain the more important
DataBase pages where updates are being discontinued by
me. This is probably going to happen for the Detroit casinos.

In any event, I'll continue updating all of the Index and Summary
pages.

If you want, I am willing to volunteer to be
a "casino monitor" for Casino Rama and Woodbine Racetrack.

Thanks. Reports and updates are always appreciated, but the official
Casino Monitor position for Casino Rama and Woodbine Racetrack is
already filled.

If anyone is interested in adopting any casino(s) and maintaining
individual DataBase pages, let me know privately.

Subject: vpFREE Changes - DataBase Coverage

In an effort to downsize the time I spend on vpFREE, effective
immediately:

1. Only the Las Vegas, Laughlin and selected Reno individual
casino DataBase pages will be updated by me in the future.

2. The "Best Games Summary" on the "Index + Summary" DataBase
pages will continue to be updated for all casinos in all
regions.

3. Members are encouraged to adopt one or more of the casino
DataBase pages that will no longer be updated by me, and
maintain it on there own web space or in the files section of
the vpFREE homepages. I'll link it to the appropriate "Index +
Summary" DataBase page. Interested volunteers should contact
me privately.

4. Everyone should continue posting trip reports and DataBase
updates for all casinos.

If djcosmo would like to be a casino monitor, I have no problems in relinquishing this position for Woodbine Racetrack.

With the expected demise of Pickem at Woodbine, I'll have no reason to play there, and will be limiting my play to Rama, Niagara, and points south.

  Besides, the more the merrier.

The ridiculous thing is that Casino Rama has downgraded as well! The
9/6 Jacks or Better machines that required a $7.50 bet to get full pay
are now 9/5 JOB Multistrike machines. I don't know what the required
bet is, but I will check it out the next time I'm there. From what I've
heard, $5 ($25 bet required) JOB is still available, but Rama requires
$30 (as opposed to $15) coin in to get one point.

Two questions about Rama:
1. Why do they require more...not LESS coin in on higher denomination
slot and video poker machines to earn one point?
2. With the exception of Megabucks, why do all of their "progressive"
slot machines have a maximum jackpot?

With the expected demise of Pickem at Woodbine, I'll have no reason

to play there, and will be limiting my play to Rama, Niagara, and
points south.

Good questions, but you will probably have to speak to the Casino staff to get a knowledgeable answer.

Regards
A.P.
