Independant hosts - good?

Lolly–Can your former independent host, now Harrahs marketing
employee, figure out Harrahs marketing??? Does she ever come
up with some great in-sights??? Or is she in the dark --like the
rest of us???

I've had one experience with independent host 3 or more years ago....
.......My Independent host now works for Harrah's marketing, she had 3
mouths to feed and needed benefits.

Lolly

In a nutshell, if you only need a room, be a good, loyal customer. If
you want the best offers, play them infrequently as possible and give
them as much play as your bankroll allows.

The HET philosophy is to actually give you less the more often you
play a particular property. While CEO Gary Loveman refers to this as
"rewarding future play", it's really nothing more than a cleverly
phrased euphemism-the longer the time interval between trips, the
better the offers. Once they believe they have you as a loyal
customer, they don't feel the need to give you better offers, because
you're happy with a particular level of offer, or that's what their
5,000 studies and focus groups tell them.

If a HET casino were featured on Star Trek, they'd be run by the Borg,
not Quark. Pure metrics and numbers, no human element at all.

Dead on. I had not played Harrah's LV in 10 years when one day out
of the blue, I was sent a $300 cash offer 2-3 years ago for Harrah's
LV.

This past year, I played once in Sept (CP) on VS shopping spree
offer, and once in Nov (CP) on VS shopping spree offer, played my
heart out and happen to win.

Last week I get a $2,500 Simon Visa Shopping Spree offer. The
catch, after earning 84,000 reward credits!

Lolly
