"improved" Coast mailing

I was told by a reliable source today that Coast
Casinos will "improve" their mailing criteria by
going to a 1 month cycle instead of the 3 month
cycle. That is, in the past you needed $30k coin in
in 3 months to get the A list mailing, now it is
changed to $10K for 1 month.....................

This is extremely useful information. I know that
randi.d is a very reliable local player and would not
post this unless he thought it was accurate.

I have had mixed results in asking for my coin-in
amounts from the slot club personnel. Suncoast has
been consistently agreeable to giving me the numbers.
Some of the folks at Gold Coast look at me like I'm
from another planet. Orleans is sometimes helpful, but
I had a slot club supervisor refuse to tell me my
coin-in for the current month. She gave me a bs answer
like she couldn't because the month wasn't over yet.
This was several months ago so maybe things have
improved, or not.

Usually I rely on my own calculation for coin-in, i.e.
Session Points (Not Doubled) Plus Losses or Minus
Profits = Coin-in

I have heard from other players that out-of-towners
can get the Coast mailers. Some have picked them up at
the slot club or actually have had them mailed to
their out-of-town address. Of course, the player must
have enough coin-in during the proper period to
qualify for the mailer.

Thanks again, randi.d for the good information.

I asked a supervisor at Orleans club desk and they didn't know anything about it. That doesn't mean they won't do it, but if they do the club does not yet know about it.

I was at the Suncoast Mon Nite and checked with the club and yes they
are going monthly for mailing eligibility. A sign will be up soon.

I asked the Orleans desk again today and they say they have not been told anything about it. Maybe the Suncoast policy is a test?
