and I feel so...., well, dirty. But hey, what can I do? The wife and I just got back from Evil Empire II (Orleans) on a three night comp, two show tickets, and $150 in food. I tried not to have a good time, but I just couldn't help myself. I did manage to surpress my euphoria when being dealt a royal on the quarter DB games by the main cage. By surpressing I mean I just grabbed one cocktail waitress for the mandatory dealt royal kiss/grope.
And I really wanted to be in a bad mood when we saw Louis Anderson, but he is just too funny to frown through a whole show.
So, needless to say, I was relieved when our stay was over, knowing that I would never have to return. Then the unthinkable happens - a new offer in yesterday's mail. This one for a suite! Nice robe, bottle of champagne, spa passes, dinner at Canal Street. I can really tell I'm gonna hate this one!
Okay, tougue out of cheek now. We will definitely take them up on this offer, as well as a lesser one I recieved - the wife gets the good offers. Hard to say how long we will continue to get these, but they are nice!
A side note. Last week a friend was killing time waiting for me to get ready for a "road trip" to the strip and he decided to slide a $20 into the triple deuces. He hit a couple of hands, than a wild royal. This is when he learned how bad the game is - 100 for a WRF. He cashed around $30 and we left. Four hours later we returned - the same machine showed the same payoff on the screen. It had not been played in over 4 hours! This is the bank right beside Don Miguel's - lots of traffic there. Saw very few people at any of these machines for the 4 nights we were there.
