IGT machines

Jean:

If you go to IGT.com and click on the search tab at
the upper right corner; enter class 2,and you will get
11 pages of hits. IGT makes class 2 tribal machines.
Strictly slots magazine also has numerous
advertisements and articles about IGT class 2
machines.

So, tribal machines are different from other machines? I am new to this and trying to catch on? Should I only gamble in Nevada to get a fair shake? Thanks:)

Atlantic City also certifies all of its own machines. I think other jurisdictions like Tunica do, also.

and

<<There is no regulation that requires machines shipped out of Nevada to be approved in Nevada or adhere to Nevada regs. In fact, this cannot be so because Class II machines and certain types of VLT's are manufactured in Nevada but would not be permitted in Nevada. Many players have always believed in the phantom reg but it isn't there (maybe it was at one point). However, no machine may be shipped out of state that would be illegal at the destination. Since no jurisdiction allows gaffed machines (such as Royal Flushes will not appear) you can rely on major brand machines to be fair. And they will work like Nevada machines unless they are Class II or are in a Washington State Native casino or a New York racino.>>

This seems to summarize the present situation nicely. Thanx for all the input!!!!
