IGT Heads Up Texas Hold'em Game

Has anyone played this new game? I would especially like to hear from a skilled player on the possibility of beating this game. If I understand correctly there is no rake so this should be an even game if your skill level matches the ability of the neural network programming of the machine.

Thanks,

Chris

You prompted me to check out some of the poker forums for an intriguing, entertaining read first thing this morning. Here's a couple of examples, for starters (from 2+2):

I have seen, on more than one occasion, David Sklansky pounding away
on it playing the highest denomination.

It is my understanding that unless you are in the top one half of one percent in the world at heads up limit holdem that machine will own your soul.

Dancer and Shackleford should get Sklansky on their radio show, but maybe he's too busy right now playing the game. Do you think Sklansky would play a game that is unbeatable? Are the casinos paying him to be a shill? Am I a shill? And what is my favorite color?

can it be beat? yes.

can you beat it? no.

or, rather, if you can beat it, you can also beat human players at
much higher stakes for a much higher hourly winrate. you might goof
around with the machine while you're waiting for a seat - several
casinos have this game right outside their poker room, for that reason
- but you're not going to grind at it for many hours, except for the
sake of curiosity.

cheers,
