As bad as I hate to post this, I believe you should avoid IGT triple
and 5 play games at this time. You can easily check them for
yourself and see that they ARE NOT RANDOM. Too many drawn cards
repeating are outside the normal curve that allows for these
repeaters being random. Dealt cards are either random or they are
not. You can do your own diligence by simply charting repeaters.I am
afraid this is a harbinger of non random video poker-i.e. slot
action video poker. After many years of play,I advise you to be very
careful. I will not further address this issue. Regards rlly

I recently had a horrific LV trip playing 3/5 play IGT NSUD and DDB
(about which I posted)so I am inclined to agree with you but I have a
few questions. I thought under Nevada law vp must be random. Are
other 3/5 play, such as Action Gaming, similarly inclined? I recently
shifted from single line to 3/5 play because it seemed to provide
more staying power with more chances at a large payout so I am very
interested in other players' experiences.

We have been playing Triple Play for years, ever since it came out, plus 5Play and 10Play. We have had some horrendous losses on them - we have had some great winning streaks. Overall, we are very close to where we should be statistically.
I am of the opinion that most people do not properly prepare for multi-line play. For one thing, they are usually playing a game that is negative - i.e. NSUD or 9/6 JoB. So if you look at the game results only you SHOULD be losing. The only way we play those games, is with a LOT of cash or cash-equivalent benefits, i.e., cashback, bounce-back, tournament and drawing equity, promotions, gift cards/certificates , etc. etc. We do not count comps, but you may choose to do so, but remember you have to be careful you can "afford" the level of comps.
In fact, this is the problem with most VP players who just "kinda" know good machines but don't always choose those and have"kinda" practiced a little bit of proper strategy but have never mastered any one game. This is not just a multi-line problem; it exists with single-line players. It's just that multi-line magnifies the problem because people are betting more per hand. The bankroll for multi-line is not multiplied by the number of lines - true. But for the short-term, you will go much deeper into that bankroll - and people who only have a small short-term bankroll don't realize how much bigger the short-term bankroll needs to be for multi-line.

You know, I have done really well (Better than I should have) on the IGT triple plays this year. Thanks for the advice, but I think I'll keep on playing them.

Could someone please explain what motivation IGT (and Action Gaming) would
have for taking such a risk? Don't say to sell more machines, multi-plays
are among the most popular in the casino and would sell regardless since
the offer the same games and paytables as on all other GameKings.
They are almost always set up with < 100% max return games. Hundreds of
slot executives and technicians would know about the non-randomness. (And
how do so many people manage to keep a secret?)
Oh, wait. They do it because they are evil and no one will tell because
they will immediately be killed. Yeah, that's it!

Yeesh....a guy has a bad streak and he's seeing a conspiracy.
There's a reason he wrote that he wouldn't discuss the matter any
further.....he knows that his position is indefensible.
