Idaho Casinos/Other Thoughts

I'm out of LV this summer, away from the Internet, so I've missed a
lot of the VPfree messages. But I'm pleased to see that Bob Dancer
is in the Hall of Fame now. It's a pretty impressive group I'd say.

Now to Idaho Indian casinos. I visited the Coeur d'Alene tribe
casino Sunday and saw a few changes. First of all the Keno games are
no longer called Bingo. For some strange reason, until this year,
they had games called "Touch Easy Bingo" that were actually Keno.
This year they are called "Touch Easy Keno"! And they now offer
Video Poker. I did not see any with good pay schedules however.
Probably the best was DDBP at 7/5. I saw one truly bad Jacks or
Better with a progressive RF. Believe it or not, it was 6/5 and the
RF progressive was $715 ... if you played the maximum 8 quarter bet.
I can't calculate the return but it must be terrible. Because the
pay schedules are so poor I didn't play much, so I don't know if the
RNG methods are identical to Nevada's. If anyone has anything they'd
like me to check out let me know because I may return in a few weeks.
