I haven't found any posts about the Venetian's new Palazzo casino, so
I went there today to get my free play and took a look around.
I only did a quick check of machines, but I did find two banks of 9/6
JOB, 8/5 BP, 9/7 DB, 9/6 DDB in $1-$5 denominations.
One bank is by the Casino Services Booth and the other bank is down
the aisle from the Big Wheel of Fortune toward the table games.
I did notice that for the $1 machines, if they are on a .25, .50 and
$1 machine, then they are short pay, if they are on a $1, $2, $5
machine, then they are usually the better schedules. I also saw a
bank of 10 coin $1 machines outside of high limit, like the ones at
TI.
As always, I did look at some of the lower machines, I did find that
if you don't look too carefully there are some that only pay 1-1 for
two pair in JOB or BP in all denominations.
I also did see an 8/5 BP in the .05 but the catch, you had to play
100 coins.
Also, I inquired and the new Gold Lounge won't be open until January
18th. The denominations in the high limit room start at $25 (from
what I could see,) I didn't see any $10, but someone may have been
playing them, I didn't want to get too close since the people playing
looked too serious.
Also, if you have free play this month, make sure to stop at the
booth to get a card (for either casino) my free play wasn't on my
card so I had to go the the booth. They will throw out your old card,
and load the free play onto the new card.
If by any chance anyone finds something playable under $1 there, I
would appreciate them posting it.
Happy New Year to everyone!
