I think flying Vegas on my own is cheaper than tour groups

Hi all.

Never flew with a tour bunch. I think flying with a group SHOULD BE CHEAPER? But I am not sure about that. I never wanted flying on schedule. Have to be flexible … But, I have been accused of not knowing everything.

If familiar with Vegas and know where we stay and get room comps etc, Is there possibly any savings on air or tour groups that would be a benefit to player.

I have heard, Caesars Harrahs, has some good air offers for players. But don’t know much about them. Maybe they are not as good as they used to be.

In the past, if you are booked through a tour group, the casinos will not give you any comps off the room.

I’m just curious …

My question is, when are you able to do any flying without a schedule.

As elegantly posted by me, I have never been accused of knowing everything. Now I will add never been accused of writing clearly or proof reading.

Maybe??.. I meant, I don’t like tours because of schedules. I rather pick dates I travel and get flights at

my convenience. Going way back, casinos would sometime refund all or part of air costs if your rated.

I think air refunds only happen with high tier players today, if at all. But, I don’t know… Just show tickets.

Lot of times I have been on planes and a group of passengers all know each other. I wondered if they

got really good discount rates. Or is “on your own” good way to travel.

I was maybe not as obvious as I should have been with my “tongue in cheek”. I agrre with your above comment, wholeheartedly.

If I stepped on you toes, it was not intended. Apologies.

“Tongue in cheek” is my middle name. In some places my nick name

is Jokeman. No toes hurt and I never even considered such.

THE ICING ON THE CAKE…We agree about schedules …

A sportsmans club in my neighborhood flew Vegas. 16 club members stayed at Bally’s . The members

complained Bally didn’t even offer a free buffet. An Elks club in my area expressed the same about a trip.

I don’t know who or how the trips booked. Members details of cost, accommodations & 0 perks leads me

to believe some better planning would have made a better trip for club members. I searched a little

on net. I didn’t see anything worth while. Just wondering what a club can do to organize a

cost effective and fun trip?
