Any one own an I pad here? If so, do you guys have the fvp program on it? I'm seriously thinking of getting the 3G I pad.
i pad
I have a scaled down version of Winpoker on my IPhone so it might be available on the Ipad. I don't think Frugal VP is available for mac based computers at all but I am sure Jean Scott will chime in on that one.

Where did you get the Winpoker for your iPhone? I just got an iPod and was looking for something like that.

Last I knew, this version was next to worthless. It does not allow you to change paytables from the preset games. Therefore you can not determine payback or analyze hands from anything but the preset paytables. Dean said on his Winpoker group about a year ago that he would add this function within a month or so, but I don't think he ever carried through.
The vpgenius site is a good alternative if you have an online connection. Unfortunately the graphics are not as good as Winpoker.

I think fvp will work on the iPad too. I know I had Gamble Track on my
iPhone and it now works fine on my iPad. However, because the screen is so
much bigger, the images appear stretched somewhat.

I'm seriously thinking of getting the 3G I pad.
I am waiting for my iPad to be delivered this week. If you hear from anyone
privately please let me know.
TIA - Marc

Costs only $5 and good enough to practice on and fun so
for me it is worth it. To each his own.
For full function program such as (Dancer's VP for Winners)
will have to pay more and download to a regular PC computer.

There isn't a Mac version but here is what one Mac owner wrote to me: "We were told that you could use a program called "Crossover" to use Frugal Video Poker. The Apple representative at Best Buy did this to demonstrate it to us and it seemed to work perfectly. However, we used another solution. Apple now has the capability to run any DOS based products by using one of two programs: Parallels or VMware Fusion. We use VMware. This program allows your Mac to perform just like a Windows based PC. Therefore, you can use any of the programs that you were using on your old system. This is a great innovation for Apple as many people who can't do without their Windows programs can now use these on the Mac and yet, you have all of the power of the Mac also."
I'm not very computer savvy so I don't know anything about using it on iPad.

Wow! Great responses everybody, and thanks Jean. I think im going to try and get that vmware and use it on my imac. I love the fvp program cause its so convenient to right and left click on your mouse to deal and draw cards. I also like the other functions as well and the multiple games! Since i switched over from Desk top to Imac, I could not operate the fvp software.
