I just don't understand...

Multiple posts about downgrades, barrings; whatever.

Yet, for more than 4 YEARS, I have played 25c 10/7 DB at the Rampart
and have not experienced ANY of of the more the hundreds of posts
regarding HEAT, BARRING, etc.

I am beginning to think it is all B.S. Can anyone provide PROOF of all
of these barrings?

Regardless, if the El Cortez downgrades paytables, DON'T PLAY THERE.
Is that so hard to do?

The bottom line is 100% VP is available in Las Vegas. Geez, even 99%
VP isn't going to kill you. Seriously, if $20 an hour is a big deal,
then go at it. You are at the national hourly wage. Part of Idiot
Nation USA.

Play big enough, win enough, the heat will come. It's tough to get
bounced playing quarters (but I have heard of one instance where it
happened).

At your level of play, you are making $4.00 per hour on single point
days and $6.50 per hour on 2x points days...not counting the
mailers,
which I suspect at your level, may not be too much.

If I were a slot exec at Rampart, you would get zero attention from
me.

Years ago at the El Cortez, they had plays that were worth around
$60/hr at the dollar level. Big difference.

And yes, the barrings are real and they have happened. I know, as I
was on the receiving end.

Thanks for the response. We had a side bet here in Las Vegas that
Bob or Jean would not respond. Talk abou a LOCK; let the record show
that BOB and JEAN did not respond. Why? Because losing on VP is
tough to admit.

Heresay? To BOB or JEAN, who want to bet your LIFE on 1,000,000
hands of VP? Seriously, it's DEATH or 10000 frankins. Come on,
either of you want to take the challenge?

It's a BIG BET. The money means nothing to our group. But...if you
lose, it's DEATH. Can you take on this challenge?

Sam Black and the Mesquite bunch don't want my action. They pitched
me out in 97. Just because I whacked their peepees. Poor losers.
In February,2000, Harrah's Tahoe suits asked me not to play machines
anymore. They got tired of dumping just $6,000 a month to me. But I
was welcome to play table games. I thought about going over to a
blackjack table and beting $5 a hand until I caught a good count and
then slap down a $500 bet just to see the look on their faces.

Being asked not to play video poker or having your comp/CB account
pulled is the equivalent of being barred. In 2002, after just
three days of pounding on dollar FPDW at the Pepp/Reno, I was
disqualified from all drawings and special events. The comp account
would go next if I didn't knock it off. Two friends got the same
treatment. We had them for a combined win of over $12,000.

I've done a pretty good job of not being detected since. I refuse to
meet casino hosts, etc., and I usually blow the popsicle stand before
the jig is up.

One day a good friend of mine was asked not to play at the Hotel
Nevada in Ely. They should have asked him about $90,000 earlier than
that. Because one nasty little trick some of these joints pull is
leaving you alone when you are getting shelled but pull the plug just
as soon as you get into a good run.

Another friend was barred out of every place on the River by 1997,
except he was allowed in the Riverside and Golden Nugget
sportsbooks. Jocks and Horses are his leaks. But he couldn't touch
a machine. All he was was a brutal advantage player at video poker.

I could go on with examples, all of which still offer no proof to
you. But that's the reality. Believe it or not. That's your
business.

As for your proposition to Jean and Bob it wouldn't be a fair bet.
$10,000 versus a persons life is juat not equitable. A much fairer,
and more entertaining, bet would be for you to put up your life too.
In other words, whoever loses the bet has to kill theirself.
