Casino Windsor was the first casino in town. I used to go there at
least once a week for years. It was my favorite place to spend time
and money. Then their hot-shot excecs started changing the pay scales
on their video poker machines, dropping some of my favorite
restaurants and shutting off the fountain that I enjoyed so much. The
people there were a great bunch of friendly workers, then the hot-
shot excecs started letting a lot of the workers go and making the
ones that were left work harder and longer to make up for the
shortage.
I quit going long before 9-11.
It always seemed illogical to me that if a casino was having problems
attracting customers, they would offer more to lure them back instead
of less. However, that's what they did and still continue to do
today. If they want to get us "rich Americans" back, a start would be
to bring back some decent video poker and advertise "WE HAVE THE BEST
VIDEO POKER IN THE DETROIT AREA!"
Fat chance of that happening.

"Casino executive should be forced to play in their own casinos
with their own money so they know how it feels to play lousy, unfair
games and go home broke most of the time."
