Spent the whole day Monday out-and-about. Left my house in Dryden at
8:00 and hit MGM at 9:30 in the morning. Got my calendar; I told you
they had'em. The calendars have tear-off coupons for free things
like: one buffet, $10 freeplays, food, coffee & donuts, mystery
gifts? And some other things. You're not getting anything that's
gonna change your life, but free is free, especially when a casino
gives it.
After getting my calendar, I punched in my $20 freeplay and
proceeded to win almost $400 playing the progressive 9/7/5 DB game.
I hit 4xAces, 4x4s, 4xKings and then got dealt a Straight Flush.
Dropped $50 on dollar Pick'Em, but got it back playing "Wheel of
Fortune!"

Hit Greektown at 11:30. Went to the progressive dollar bar and
put the $400 into the Bonus Poker game. The royal was up to $5200,
so I gave it a shot with some "free" money.
I didn't hit he royal, although I had one shot at it and missed
needing the Jack of spades, but I did hit three quads at %175 each
for another $350 profit before I punched out.
Lost some back playing quarter Pick'Em, Bonus Deuces, NSUD and
9/6 JB, but once again won again on some of my favorite slot
machines. Finished, unlike last week, well ahead for the day.
Then I drove over to Great Lakes Mall, did several laps around
the place, saw "Charlotte's Web", (great movie) had dinner and a few
glasses of wine, some great conversation with several patrons, then
headed for the Rochester Elks to attend a meeting.
Got home at 11:00, worn-out but with money still in my pocket. I
like when that happens!

PS: Not only have I heard of "RED" Skelton, but I can remenber
Ben "Blue" of silent picture fame, although I'm not "that" old.
