I attended a Bob Dancer casino industry seminar.

Unfortunately I am going to have to mince words carefully so I don't
run afoul of the VP Administrator's policies here.

Two G2E's ago I attended a Bob Dancer seminar. Bob spoke as the co-
owner of Compton-Dancer Consulting.

Among other things, he laughingly referred to people who play 25
cent video poker in an advantage situation as "fleas".
Needless to say, he is probably referring to 75% of the membership
of vpfree, if not 99%.

He told the assembled slot execs that there will always be fleas,
and you have to put up with them.

However, his presentation made it clear that the goal is to let the
fleas get the minimum possible, while allowing the casino to
advertise that they have "loose" video poker.

His posts here have tried to make the point that he is
simultaneously helping the casino and players.
Based on his presentation, nothing could be farther from the truth.

I have a great deal more to say, but it would probably be deleted
and moved to the other forum, no matter how carefully I'd try to
phrase it.

    I have spoken at a number of G2E seminars. To my best recollection,
I have never used the word "fleas" in the context indicated here. It
neither represents my vocabulary nor my opinion. It is easy to make
these charges. In this case, it is simply not true.

word "fleas", and you laughed as you said it.

account.

Unfortunately, I didn't record the event. Did you? If so, perhaps
you could send a complete copy of the tape to the Administrator
here, who can verify the truth of my account.

My posting along these lines (i.e., positive comments are not allowed either)
was made with tongle firmly implaneted in cheek.

And, I have to agree with Helmut completely. We cannot put our heads in the
sand and think all is sweetness and light.
