I would appreciate some comments on the Monte Carlo buffet. I dropped
in there a couple of years ago and thought it was pretty darn good. I
never see it listed on any of the best buffet surveys so apparently no
one else shares my views on how wonderful it is. Has anybody else found
this buffet to be a decent meal?? For some reason I thought it was even
better than that exotic fare they have at the Rio. Dick M.

I haven't eaten there in a long time (a number of years) but it was very
good when we visited, too. As I recall, they also had the best iced tea
that I'd had in Las Vegas. So many places serve that tea that comes out of
a pop machine. Yech. Theirs was fresh, and made with high quality tea.
However, I do not like the Rio buffet at all - I've tried it a number of
times, and never understood how it got the 'best buffet' rating, so almost
any of the other o.k. buffets are better than the Rio as far as I am
concerned.

While I haven't personally eaten their in quite a while, I have friends that live in LV who say The Mirage has an excellent buffet. Any locals that can verify this?
