Is a casino the only place you handle hundred dollar bills? It is for
me.

I don't understand your question. Please elaborate.

Seems like a simple question to me. We all use credit cards for almost
everything now, but casinos are still a cash world. So that is the
only place I carry hundred dollar bills.

Presents on special ocassions but otherwise I do not use them outside
of casinos. There was discussion on Motherboard about machines
accepting credit cards. Next step would be electronic transfer
to/from your account. No more Benjamins.

Ah, now I understand your context.
To a certain extent, I agree that credit cards or debit cards could
be used at the casinos. In fact, several of the VP "gurus" have so
stated in some of their articles. The only problem I see is, of
course, some players over-extending their bankroll.
I welcomed the change to TITO at MS, as I'm sure the LV casinos have
already done----I really didn't like constantly washing my hands
after handling the coins/tokens.
Regards,
Ted

not at all.
i paid my dentist with hundred dollar bills. they gave me an
(unadvertised and unexpected) discount for paying cash. only makes
sense, considering the huge transaction fee i saved them by not using
a credit card.
i use hundred dollar bills every time i shop at costco, which doesn't
take credit cards.
i sometimes buy used items on craiglist, and if they're large items,
like my computer monitor or my treadmill, pay for them with hundred
dollar bills. no reason why some guy who doesn't know me from adam
should accept my check.
i pay my auto mechanic with hundred dollar bills. he appreciates me
saving him money by not using a credit card - and possibly keeping the
income under the table, though of course i don't know anything about
that and wouldn't approve of it - and i'm sure this goodwill ends up
saving me money on service now and then.
there are lots of places in this country, especially more rural areas,
where cash still rules.
cheers,
five
