I just received an invite from Caesars Palace to get on their VIP
check-in check-out list. Now listen to what they'll "do for me" as a
VIP ( diamond card ?)..

DUH...Isn't this what registration and departure from a
casino/hotel always entails ?
While I agree the marketing copy is befuddling at best (and my copy of that "VIP checkin" application went straight to the circular file), I *think* the benefit they're claiming to offer is that they'll keep your billing information on file, so as to expedite the checkin process a little.
