How much can a full timer make?

You could achieve a very nice income by putting 4.76 million in a money
market for a year. An investment of 4.76 Million in stock, bonds ore real estate,
could net you substantial profit in one year without much effort at all! I
know there are many venture capitalists that could find you an excellent
vehicle to turn a profit on in one year with a few million. I enjoy gambling--but
it is career for a select group of professionals. Even those that claim to do
well, are making some if their income from other sources. Of course, I agree
with others that say the true gamblers are not visible--I have to believe
they float their gambling egg in a money market for their turn key living.

Requiring $4.76M be gambled through the machines is not the same as
requiring $4.76M actually be possessed. To make $50K in a money
market in a year, you would need nearly $1,000,000. To make the same
$50K playing VP with a 1% edge requires a far smaller investment --
less than 1/10th as much as the money market.

The ability to cycle the same dollar over and over is a huge benefit
that is not typically held in most forms of investing. Even in
real-estate investing, where leverage is at its peak, does not allow
the level of "recycling" that can be found in video poker.
