While I agree with Harry--the poll is not a good indication of profit
potential--I doubt the that most rank amateurs bothered with entering their meager
profits. I also doubt a gambler with a very bad year bothered to enter his
meager annual income from gambling. However, I find that when gamblers are on a
winning streak, and/or are asked if they win ('are you good at what they
do") they are quick, direct and positive about their gambling activities. Why
wouldn't the big winners and professional gamblers want to register their
profits? On another note, all other professions freely offer their annual incomes
to professional surveys--why would this group --do less?
