Horseshoe may have some (which I can count on one hand) for you high-denom
players if you like big bets, but the rest of us are SOL with the lower-denom
games at Horseshoe. And as far as their slots; I read the on-line state figures
EACH & EVERY month that they are Indiana's highest hold % out of all the area
casinos. I stay clear of there because my wife cannot play slots without
leveraging the house while I play VP! Sorry, but I do not know how anyone could
endorse a casino that has posted a 10% monthly slot hold this year?
The reality is that the VP market is changing for us everywhere we go. It's
getting harder and harder to find premium games where we can play for "free"
after all things considered. I use to make a trip to Vegas every 3 months to do
a VP & Pkr weekend, but now it's more work than fun trying to find places to
play where I have the "advantage." I am down to Vegas once a year and local
markets whenever I get the bug. Figure the money I save from the trip gives me
a few more trips in the local market. I have learned to switch my
mentality from VPfree to VPforafee. I enjoy playing and that's what really
counts in the end. Sweat the money and you'll get ulcers!

After reading 10 emails on the topic, I have to wonder why people even go to the
MS?
The horseshoe has full pay JOBs and it's way nicer. They also have even better
machines.

I was at MS on Saturday 8/7. Every employee I encountered was hostile, unhelpful
and generally unpleasant. My guess is that MS is treating their employees like
junk and it is trickling down.
The casino had a feeling of impending doom. I don't think they will be around
much longer. Four Winds was much busier at 9 AM on Saturday than MS was at 4 PM
on Saturday and MS was having a couple of pretty big promotions.
