HOW I SPENT MY NEW YEAR'S

TRAPPED IN A GARAGE IN DRYDEN

My wife and I had a really weird New Years Eve Night. We had paid
$60 to go to a New Year's Eve party and got all cleaned, dressed up
and excited, looking forward to a great time with friends. As we
went out the door, we discovered that a big spring on our garage
door had snapped making it inoperable. We could not lift it up (it
probably weighs about 250 lbs) to get the cars out!. We were trapped!
I worked on it in my suit and tie for an hour or so, until I finally
had to give up, exhausted, cold and with frozen, greasy fingers.
Bummer!

We spent the night watching a video( the only thing i had around
that we hadn't seen was a Pooh movie) and celebrated the new year
with Pooh, Champagne and a kiss. Not bad, but not what we had
planned. I hope you guys had a better night than we did.
