Your last sentence is the answer! Some casinos make it easier than others
to do so. It is easier if the total is always up on the card reader. Others
make you pull the card out and put it back in. This group's VP database has
the $/pt. info for most of the casinos.

Subject: [vpFREE] How do you track "coin-in"?Thanks to all the people that have posted information about earning
room offers on the Strip. Most posts say something like "Play $10K
in a day to get..." - how do you track your "coin" in since normally
you are just inserting a bill or ticket and play until you lose it or
cash out? Is this an estimate based on how many hands one normally
plays per hour, or is there a more scientific way to track it?
Something to do with the points earned on the cards maybe?SL
