Hi all...
This is being posted on a couple of groups (Curious to see if
the type of list or location matters).
Plan to return to AC for a day of playing right after Christmas
(probably the Saturday after). One of the places where I'll be is at
Bally's; which has a .25 3-play progressive 8/5 BP. I know that, for
optinum play, strategy changes are needed... however, I was curious
how detailed everyone gets when they play a progressive.
* Do you just focus on when a RF3 would cause a switch from
basic strategy?
* Do you look at all of the RF2 possibilities?
* In addition to the previous question, what about those hands
that don't appear in basic strategy, but can be good strategy changes
in a progressive?
For example, in BP (and I believe most other games),
an AT is usually not a playable basic strategy hand. However, when a
progressive is involved, there is a level when an AT does beat a lone
A.
Just curious...
Jeff
PS - For me, when I played the progressive in November, I believe that
I only focused on when a RF3 beat a High Pair.
