Got to agree with Ned.
We're down a bit this year too, play only JOB or higher return games. Lots of DBDJ for quarters & JOB for $1. We figure the bit we are down is more than covered by all the free rooms, meals, shows, drinks, trips, etc...
Now that our kid's are grown, playing VP is our amusement choice. We enjoy every minute, so it costs us far less than if we did the "normal" amount of movies, dinners out, etc...
Heading for New Orleans this month on Harrah's & will be doing either Vegas or Reno in Jan., mostly on them too. So, in actuality - we are far ahead of the game.
