I was really bothered by this email. I usually leave a nice tip (in the room either in the envelope provided or on top of a note) the first day and then smaller ones the days after. We often leave our room before the maids are even in the hallways (we're on Central time and it takes a few days to adjust and by then we usually go back home!) If I do see the maids in the hallways, I do hand it to them, but this is not usually the case and to think that some supervisor would STEAL her own employees tips is very very upsetting! Does anyone else have any resources/contacts in Vegas that they could check this out???
I can only hope that this is an isolated case with one supervisor at one property. (And I'd love to know which property because if I ever stayed there–I'd check to be sure the maid got the tip and if she didn't I'd be complaining!!!) Anyone??? Any help???

She said the maid supervisor goes to all the dirty rooms first and steals the tips so....
directly give $ to the maid. . . .
